on Monday, January 26, 2026.

The delegation included Dr. Mohamed Rabah, Engineer Marina Alaa, and other Civil Engineering students, with the aim of surveying the area.

The delegation was received by Engineer Mohamed Abu Samra, Head of the Takamul Foundation, who emphasized the importance of the surveying for initiating the development of the area and establishing tourism activities, thus creating a new addition to Fatimid Cairo, which will benefit our beloved Egypt in general and the residents of the Mamluk Desert area in particular. Students from the Civil Engineering Department, under the supervision of professors and teaching assistants, began surveying the area, starting from the courtyard within the grounds of the Sultan Faraj bin Barquq Mosque. This reflects the institute's vision and its commitment to delivering practical projects that serve academic educational goals and connect them to real-world applications, in addition to its dedication to actively contributing to community development projects and initiatives.
