The Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering combines the latest technologies in electronics and communications. The department aims to prepare students to become specialists in designing and implementing modern communication systems and developing microelectronics.

Through a comprehensive academic program based on the credit hour system, students study a range of core and advanced subjects such as electromagnetic waves, electronic circuits, microprocessors, and microwave systems, in addition to digital signal processing and microcontroller system design.

The program also offers students practical skills through specialized laboratories, including the Microcontroller Lab and the Antennas and Microwave Lab. Students also study advanced communication networks, satellite communications, and optical communication systems.

The department aims to graduate professionals capable of addressing technological challenges in the communications and electronics industries, and working across a wide range of fields such as system design, networking, satellite communications, and research in modern communication technologies.
