The Job Fair Strengthens Partnerships with Industry and Links Education to Labor Market Needs

Dr. Lubna El-Tayeb, Dean of the Institute, inaugurated the Job Fair under the slogan "Start Your Training... and Build Your Future," organized by the Higher Valley Institute for Management, Finance, and Information Systems in Qalyubia.

This took place in the presence of Professor Dr. El-Desouki Eid, former Vice President of Suez Canal University and member of the Institute's Board of Directors; Dr. Alaa El-Din El-Feki, member of the Institute's Board of Directors and Head of the Control Unit; Ms. Ghada Abdel Rahman, Business Development Manager at Arab Contractors for Facilities Management; Dr. Ehab El-Shaib, Organizational Development Manager at Bedayaty Company; Eng. Mohamed Nagi, CEO of Image Group and Chairman of the Trade and Industry Committee of the National Youth Council; Counselor Mohamed Hassan Ghoneim, Secretary of Parliamentary and Local Councils for the Homeland Protectors Party and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consulting Group for Accounting and Taxes; Mr. Magdy Gamil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reach Mix Company; Mr. Ehab El-Askary, Chairman of El-Askary Dot Jeans Factories Group; Dr. Mustafa Taha, Executive Director of Candle Consulting and Training Company; in addition to a number of heads and representatives of participating companies and institutions, program coordinators, faculty members, students, and graduates.

Dr. Lubna Al-Tayeb, Dean of the Institute, explained that the Career Fair was a resounding success, serving as a platform for communication between students and graduates on one hand, and companies and institutions on the other. It contributed to opening new horizons and providing job and training opportunities, while also raising awareness of the importance of continuous skills development to keep pace with the rapidly changing job market.

The Dean emphasized that the Career Fair, organized by the Institute under the slogan "Start Your Qualification and Build Your Future," reflects the Institute's vision of empowering every student and graduate to make a significant impact on the job market by equipping them with the skills and knowledge that qualify them for a promising professional future. She encouraged students and graduates to actively participate and benefit from the expertise of the participating companies and institutions, stressing that self-development is the true path to making an impact and achieving excellence.

The Dean expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to all the participating companies and speakers who contributed to supporting the fair and ensuring its success, as well as to the organizing committees who exerted considerable effort to present this event in a manner befitting the Institute.

It is worth noting that the forum witnessed a wide attendance of students and graduates, in addition to the distinguished participation of major companies and institutions in various sectors, reflecting the institute’s keenness to enhance partnership with labor market institutions, and to provide real opportunities for training, employment and professional qualification for its students and graduates.
